The Last Rose of Summer

The last talk at Stathern Gardening Club was an entertaining talk given by Dr Ann Featherstone who talked about ghosts and the origins of  many ghostly stories.  One or two tales were well known, for example the story of Borley Rectory, others were the result of research.   Anne showed a real enthusiasm for her subject and the audience thoroughly enjoyed her story tellings.

Flower of the Month was the last rose of summer and we had 8 entries which was a good number.  First and third was Sheila Worth and Barbara Cooke came second.
